About

Eric Middleton, Ph.D.

Hello! I'm the founder of Intrepid Metric. I have 15 years of experience as a researcher and practitioner of workplace psychology, leadership development, psychological assessments, and people analytics. My training is in organizational behavior (MA, PhD) and industrial/organizational psychology (MA). I am an International Coaching Federation (ICF) certified executive coach.

 

Professional highlights include developing rigorous assessments for the U.S. Armed Forces, co-founding LEAD Labs--a non-profit evidence-based leadership development consultancy, career coaching in higher education, and providing leadership development tools within a preeminent specialized research medical institution. I have published in peer-reviewed journals and presented research on leader development topics such as goal orientation, leader identity, self-awareness, psychological capital, and leader integrity. ​

 

I have deep expertise in assessments used for professional development and have designed and delivered multi-rater (360-degree) feedback programs. I am also certified to administer the Hogan Personality Assessment, EQi 2.0/EQi360 Emotional Intelligence assessments.
